In the second half of June, as every year, we went to the Italian Alps. The main goal of the expedition was to climb the highest peak in Europe, Mont Blanc, or actually Monte Bianco, from the Italian side.

While the weather was relatively good during the acclimatization, later it was getting worse. While trying to climb Monte Bianco, we had to verify our plans quite quickly. Reaching the summit was not realistic plan for us this time. Sometimes the best solution is to find another target. And so we did.

Our goal was the Ecrins massif in the Dolphins Alps. Although the weather conditions did not allow to complete the maximum plan, i.e. climbing the four-thousander Dôme de Neige des Écrins, thanks to the perseverance of the entire team, we did a good piece of mountaineering adventure. Congratulations girls!
