We did it!
On Friday, June 9, a few minutes after 9:00AM, the expedition to Grossglockner in full squad checked in at the top of Austria’s highest peak
It must be noted that they did it very fast and in difficult conditions due to a lot of snow. Fitness of the group allowed for a fast pace of climbing, and this in turn made it possible to climb the most difficult parts of the mountain before the snow began to become wet, slushy and unstable.
In addition, the participants of the expedition spent their first night in a tent on the glacier and learned the secrets of high-mountain camping.
