On July 9th between 8:00 and 8:20 AM we reached the peak of Monte Bianco. Four two-member teams were led by: Kuba Polasik, Michał Loj, Robert Róg i Ola Dzik.Climbing the summit via so called Papa Route is no mean feat. Especially in such a good time: 6 hours up (including about 45 minutes rest in Vallot hut) and less than 5 hours – also with a break – down. By this route only 5% of ascents on White Mountain take place and these are the more “ambitious” ones than via the classical route from France. Therefore we congratulate to all eight men who together with us stood on the top and thank them for the adventure we shared together. We must also mention the women’s team that resigned at the beginning of the route: one of members was sick and another resignet from summit to accompaniate her. The example of mountain partnership worthy of praise! You can watch the gallery of photos from the expedition HERE.
