We have returned from Itlian Alps, from the expedition on Monte Bianco. Ut was the first time when we came from this route with no summit. There was a lot of snow as for June, there was also a fresh snowfall and big and small avalanches. Although we only managed to reach the Gonella hut a bit above 3000m, the ascent in such conditions, two bivouacs in tents on the way, and then the desccent, for security reasons all the time with rope belay, were a real mountaineering adventure, something that many members knew before only from books agout conquerors of the highest peaks.
