Description
With the BluEmu guide, you can stand on the highest peak in the Tatras. Climb Gerlach with us. You can also climb other technical peaks: Lodowy, Lomnica, Ganek, or Starolesny Stit. With our guide, they’re all within your reach!
You’ll be safely guided to the summit by an English-speaking UIAGM guide from Slovakia. Every trip is sure to be an unforgettable adventure!
You can choose your own tour date, whatever suits you. You can also provide multiple dates, and we’ll check which of these dates the guide is available.
We organize tours during the summer season, from June 1st to the end of October, and during the winter season, from mid-December to mid-April.
You can sign up alone, or you can sign up as a team of two or three people. For safety reasons and to maximize the chances of reaching the summit, we do not combine into one team the people who do not know each other and do not register together.

Gerlachovsky Stit (2655m a.s.l.)
Meeting with the guide early in the morning (the exact time is determined by the guide before the tour) at the parking lot in Tatranska Polianka, or later at the Slezsky Dom hut (if the group is staying overnight there). Climbing via the Velicka Proba , or, depending on conditions, via the Batyzovska Proba. Descent usually via the Batyzovska Proba (the guide makes decisions regarding the route, equipment, and maximum number of participants). Return to the bottom.
In the case of Ladovy or Lomnica, the tour begins with a cable car ride to Hrebienok or Lomnicke Sedlo, respectively.
The trip price includes
For the Gerlachovsky Stit climb:
- Guide service for one person (price: €470) or for a two-person team (price: €270 per person) or for a three-person team* (price: €197 per person)
- Equipment rental available from the guide
- Medical and personal accident insurance, extended to cover high-risk sports
*Trips in three-person teams are only possible during the summer season from June 1st to the end of October, unless winter conditions are present or forecast in the destination area at that time – even during the summer season, this cannot be ruled out!
The trip price does not include
- transportation to Slovakia (the place of meeting the guide) and back
- accommodation before and after the tour
- transportation by mountain hut car from the parking lot to the Slezsky Dom mountain hut (from 10 EUR/person, can be booked through the guide) or cable car rides to the starting point
- meals and beverages
