At the beginning of July, we decided to face Monte Bianco for the second time this season. The mountain welcomed us with demanding weather conditions. We managed to complete an acclimatization trip to Punta Helbronner (3462m above sea level) with an overnight stay, we managed to reach the Gonella shelter, and finally to the ridge of The White Mountain. Unfortunately, the impending weather breakdown combined with the falling pace and the beginnings of altitude sickness of one of the participants meant that the only right and safe decision could be to withdraw. However, in this difficult weather year, reaching an altitude of approx. 4000m on Mont Blanc is a significant success. Congratulations to the whole team!
