Once again at the beginning of May we visited Grossglockner. After the first day of warming up, when we went trekking to the picturesque Dabaklamm gorge, the next day we set off to the Stuedlhutte hut. The next day we set off towards the summit. The weather, although still changeable, gave a chance to reach the summit that day. Unfortunately, however, Grossglockner did not let us stand on its summit this time. The avalanche danger forced us to retreat at the foot of the couloir. About 200m below the summit. It was a real winter alpine adventure. And this allows you to gain experience greater than reaching the summit in perfect conditions.
