In mid-July, we explored the Czech via ferratas for a few days. First we climbed via ferratas Tabor and Bechynie. We spent the whole next day in Děčín. Pastýřská Stěna rises above the town – a wall of about 100 meters, on which there are as many as 16 via ferrata routes of various difficulty: from B, which can be climbed by a beginner, to E, which is a challenge for experienced climbers. There is also the Charles Bridge, being of course a rope bridge. Our brave group climbed as many as six via ferratas that day. On the last day, despite the slightly worse weather, we managed to climb two via ferratas on the Kavárnička wall and the long one on the Vodni Brana. Big congratulations to the participants, especially since it was their first contact with via ferratas.
You can visit via ferratas in the Czech Republic with us two more times this year:
– August 18 – 20
– September 8-10
