Description

We invite you for a series of weekend trips to the mountains of Slovakia. This time our goal will be one of the wildest, and at the same time the most scenic because it is covered with pastures, mountain ranges in Slovakia: the Great Fatra Mountains. We will visit its highest peaks: Ostredok, Ploska, Krizna and Rakytov. In the following months, we want to offer you the exploration of other Slovakian mountain ranges, such as Little Fatra, Low Tatras, Choč Mountains or the Slovak Paradise, as well as Western and High Tatras.
You don’t have to worry about organizing transport: you can travel with us from Krakow. If there are a few members from another city, we are also able to organize transport for them.
The tour routes are neither very long nor very demanding. Routes are within the capabilities of the average mountain hiker. We do not impose a sports pace. At the same time, on our trips you have to walk and get a little tired. The safety of the group is supervised by international UIMLA mountain guides.
Trips are planned in such a way that they are attractive also for more experienced tourists. We do not make a loop, each day we start and end our journey in different places. You will not be able to huke such trails when going to Slovakia individually with your own car. With us you can enjoy comfort: the transport is waiting for you where you descend from the mountains, and after the Sunday trip you will only observe possible traffic jams in Zakopianka from the passenger seat.
Adults of all ages can take part in trips to the mountains of Slovakia, as long as their health and condition allow them to hike the planned route. We also invite children and teenagers over 12 years of age together with their guardians (the possible participation of younger children is possible after individual consultation with the guide and presentation of the young person’s mountain experience).
The groups are small, so you can get to know each other and integrate, whether on the trail, in the shelter or on the road. In between trekking, you can rest in hostels and guesthouses. We will also provide you with dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Meals are available in vegetarian and meat versions. Other variants (vegan, allergy-free, lactose-free, gluten-free, etc.) are available upon prior notification and may incur an additional charge. Evenings spent in shelters are also a time for getting to know each other, talking and integrating.
See you in the mountains of Slovakia!
