Mont Blanc, theRoof of Europe. Enyone who wants to climb the Seven Summits should stand on its peak. Our expedition is an interesting option for those for whom climbing Mont Blanc by the simplest route from the French side is not enough. For people who already have some mountaineering experience and would like to climb the mountain in a sport style. We are among the few organizers offering an ascent on Mont Blanc, or Monte Bianco as it is called in Italy, via so called the Papa Route.

This route to Mont Blanc leads from Aosta Valley in Italy with its famous mountain resort of Courmayeur. It is very varied and picturesque, it leads through the area almost untouched by human. It begins in the charming area of Lake Combal, then leads through an easy and safe Miage Glacier, rich in beautiful mineral specimens. Further, the terrain becomes more demanding. The path, sometimes equipped with artificial facilities, leads us to the Gonella refuge located at about 3000m a.s.l. From there, we climb up to Col du Bionassay pass, via the glacier, which is mostly easy, but full of crevasses. Ascent on the ridge and further climb along it is a real mountaineering adventure. Near Vallot shelter, our route meets the French one and leads further to the top of Mont Blanc. Now just a descent and we can enjoy the Italian wine.

Climbing Mont Blanc via this route may be a big step forward in your mountaineering development. The altitude is not very high, but for its technical difficulties, Papa Route can be a perfect training and self-test before takinh challenges in high mountains.
