Description

Trekking to Mount Everest Base Camp and on Kala Patthar is a perfect trip for everyone who dreams of seeing the highest peaks of the world, but is not a mountaineer. The route is accessible even for the beginning trekkers. The trek is not technically demanding. We do not have to carry heavy backpacks, because during the whole trek to Mount Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar and back we will eat and sleep in local hotels – lodges. Altitude is a challenge, although we will get it slowly and with additional days for rest and acclimatization. Therefore we should not feel the negative effects of altitude.

During the trek, we will visit the base camp at the foot of the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest. After this we will stand on the top of the iconic Kala Patthar viewpoint, reaching a height of over 5,500 meters. The trek is an opportunity to admire the picturesque panoramas and famous walls of the Himalayan peaks. And as mountains are not the only fascinating thing in Nepal, there will also be an opportunity to plunge into the exotic multi-colored culture of the peoples of Nepal, taste delicious cuisine, observe the rituals of various religions or admire the unusual art and handicraft.
